Delicious and healthy, what more could you want?
This is a delicious cake with pudding in the center. yummy! Again this recipe is from Hacer’s recipe chest!

Ingredients:
1 cup grated carrot,
1 cup walnuts
2 cup flour
1 tsp baking powder
4 eggs
1 1/2 cup sugar
2 tbsp yogurt
For the pudding:
6 cup milk
4 tbsp cornstarch
3 tbsp flour
1 cup sugar
1 stick butter
Mix all the ingredients for the cake and bake in a tray, which is greased with oil and then sprinkled with flour at 350 deg F.
To prepare the pudding, mix milk, cornstarch, flour and sugar and boil till it thickens (stirring continuously). When its ready, turn off the stove, and then mix 1 stick of unsalted butter in it.
When the cake is cooled, flip it out of the tray, cut it through the center to get 2 equal halves. Put one layer of the cake in the tray, pour a layer of pudding over this layer of cake, then put the second layer of cake over this pudding.

Finally spread the rest of the pudding over the cake.
Let it set in the refrigerator. Cut little pieces or big ones
, and server chilled.

I dont know what the turkish name for this recipe is, but its made with potatoes, and looks like a cake, so I named it Potato cake.

Its delicious, and I dont think you can go wrong with this recipe. Just put all the ingredients together and bake. Hacer showed me how to make this. Try this recipe with half the measure of the listed ingredients. You will get a medium size tray out of it.
Ingredients:
3 eggs,
3 potatoes medium size, chopped in thin equal sized pieces
3 Turkish tsp salt
1 onion chopped
1 cup yogurt
1 cup milk
1 cup oil
1 tsp baking powder
black pepper, red pepper, as per taste
parsley
1 1/2 -2 cups flour (enough to get a cake-batter consistency)
Method:
Mix all the above ingredients and bake till its golden red in color, and the center is firm (use a toothpick for testing).
Update: It is also called potato cake in turkish
just fyi.

This is a yummy cake by Nurhaan. Its actually made with tea and its great with tea or just about anytime.
Ingredients:
1 cup tea (black)
1 1/2 cup sugar
1 cup oil
3 eggs
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla powder
3 apples chopped
1/2 tsp cinnamon
3 cups flour
Start by mixing the eggs and sugar (you may use a electric hand mixer). Now add the remaining ingredients except apples. Sprinkle the apples with little flour (it will prevent them from sinking to the bottom). Finally add the apples.
Bake at 350 deg F until the base and top is golden, and test with a tooth pick in the center, it shouldnt be gooey.
Enjoy with hot tea, perfect for chilled winter evenings!
